Good News is a compact catalog of verifiable progress. It is designed to be read like a news service, not a motivational feed.

How stories are selected

We monitor RSS and Atom feeds from 78 established publishers, including dedicated sources from Russia, China, India and Japan. A language model reviews headlines and flags only stories whose main event is clearly positive on its own. Geography never overrides that standard.

Politics, regulation, routine business announcements, war, crime, disaster and “small improvement after something terrible” stories are rejected. Every selected report is checked again in full before an English article is prepared.

How stories are written

Once a headline passes the first screen, the system opens the original report, extracts its factual context and produces an independent English summary. It keeps caveats, avoids long quotations and does not invent details.

Every article names the publisher, links to the original report and displays the publisher-hosted image when one is available.
