11-Year-Old Opens Natural History Museum in Illinois, Earns Guinness Record

Eleven-year-old Anderson Taylor has been recognized by Guinness World Records as the youngest museum curator in the world. The record was confirmed after Taylor opened the Cambridge Natural History Museum in his hometown of Cambridge, Illinois.

Taylor began collecting natural history specimens four years ago, at age seven. His collection grew to include fossils, minerals, animal bones, and preserved insects gathered from the local area and through trades with other collectors.
